The Clarksville Women’s Expo

Three long time friends, Lori Austin, Trish Halstead and Sibrena Merriam, formed the Women’s’ Expo in the year 2000. We were entrepreneurs that sought to generate more business in the Clarksville area. Shortly thereafter, we called our fellow entrepreneurs and The Clarksville Women’s Expo grew from there. The idea of an expo generated a lot of excitement. What we heard time and time again was “it’s about time,” “we needed this’ and “where do I sign up.” Since the planning of the expo, we have received a tremendous amount of encouragement and support from everyone. There are many opportunities for women in business and new ones are forming everyday. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for participants to showcase their products and services. This is an annual event …and we will work to make it bigger and better every year!

Mission Statement :
Our goal as a small not-for-profit charity, is to help promote local retailers, women in business, entrepreneurs, home-based business owners and service providers showcase their products and services. Our event hosts up to 100 local businesses each year.
